General Terms of Business for Europe

  Orders can be placed by mail, eMail or online-shop.
  1. By publication of this list all previous editions cease to be valid.

  2. The following conditions shall be legally binding when an order is placed.

  3. All indicated prices are to be understood ex shop Seeheim and do not include tax according to § 19 UStG.

  4. Minimum order 10 €.

  5. Despatch is only made against advance payment.

  6. No shipping to non-EU countries.

  7. SEEDS

    ADVANCE PAYMENT:   Value of goods plus 4,50 € for postage and packing.


    ADVANCE PAYMENT:   Value of goods plus arising charges for postage
    plus 2,50 € for packing.



    Shipping costs depend on size and weight of the ordered books and are charged individually. You will receive the total amount by eMail.

    (Plants, accessories, books, tubers, rhizomes etc.)

    Costs for shipping and handling for orders shipped as parcel depend on size and weight of your order and are charged individually. You will receive the total amount by eMail!

  8. Payment:

    • Transfer to our account at:
      Volksbank Darmstadt Südhessen eG, Konto (IBAN) DE13508900000037392111, (BIC) GENODEF1VBD

    • In case of advance payment to my account please, arrange for all banking fees (invoiced by your bank as well as by the foreign bank) to be payable by you. But please note that in some cases these fees are very high and not proportional to the value of your order.

  9. Unfortunately it may happen that there are no more seeds/plants available on stock when your order is placed.

    Therefore, in case of advance payment please, always indicate whether
    1. you want to get some substitute (please, indicate alternative)

    3. the overpaid amount shall be reimbursed

  10. We cannot make any guarantees regarding the successful germinating of seeds.

  11. Delivery is subject to the availability of the goods; the prices for the plants depend on sorts, sizes and rarity as well as level of difficulty during the time of rearing.
    In the event that partial deliveries might be demanded, the arising postage and packing charges are always to be borne by the buyer.

  12. The plants leave our shop in perfect condition; we cannot make any guarantee for their taking roots. Likewise, we cannot take over any liability for transport or sequential damages. Transport damages have to be asserted vis-à-vis to the carriers. Faults have to be claimed about in writing within 5 days after receipt of the goods.

  13. Despatch is made at the buyer's risk.

  14. Experience has shown that transport damages often occur in case of unfounded non-acceptance of the goods supplied. If this happens the total value of the goods as well as all arising transport charges will be debited to the buyer's account.

  15. The goods remain my property until full payment is received.

  16. For non consumers only: Any disputes arising hereunder will be settled before the Darmstadt court of law. Darmstadt represents the place of fulfilment for delivery and payment.
